The Designer Matilde Cano has come a long way in the world of fashion since she started her brand in 1976 when she presented the first Prêt-à-Porter Collection, successfully showing her mastery in combining the trends light and colour.  She did not forget her home town origins of Córdoba, including her real feel and extensive knowledge of the Spanish flair in fashion. Over the years the brand’s expansion has continued with its recognised collections of evening dresses, cocktail and occasion wear, making the brand a leader in the sector of social events. Thanks to the care in selecting the raw materials, Silk, Chiffon, Muslin or French Chantilly and the continuous research of elegance we get the final result.

In that same year, Matilde Cano received a Mention of Honour award, she opened her first boutique in her hometown Cordoba, followed by new openings of seven own brand stores and then multi-brand stores throughout Spain, the European Union and the Middle East. Actually we start the research to approach the US market with the business emphasis in New York.

She is not only recognised in our country, the international market has opened its doors, she was once proposed by the foreign trade department to internationalize the company. She chose the French market as the first step towards the international expansion, positioning the product into multi-brand stores, expansion followed with the Italian and Portuguese markets.


Actually we maintain open markets in France, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Germany, Benelux, Saudi Arabia, several Eastern European countries and some points of sale in the US market. All this gives us a vision of know-how and raises Matilde Cano to the grade of being an ambassador of Spanish fashion, supported with the annual evidence of her fashion forward trends in the famous catwalk Gaudí Novias, at the Bridal Week in Barcelona, where she joins the fashion space with designers like Jesus del Pozo, Devout & Lomba, Francis Montesinos and Javier Larraizar.
